ABOUT KRISTEN SMITH...
 
In 2006, Kristen Smith, a graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture from The Pennsylvania State University, began employment at The Conard-Pyle Company, now known as Star® Roses and Plants. She has been working in the position of New Plants Coordinator for about 13 years and enjoys coordinating the rose trials in West Grove, PA as well as at external trial sites around the country. Her favorite part of the job is evaluating new roses for future release.  She has recently stepped into the role of Rose Evaluation Manager for the company where she will be the primary contact for rose breeders and responsible for the product development of roses.

William Radler grew up in Wisconsin and bought his first rose at age 9. He joins us to talk about his early rose growing experience and how through those relationships, made a commitment to create low maintenance roses. We are excited to welcome Kristen Smith of Star Roses and Plants to talk about Star's new rose introductions for 2013! Kristen Smith is the new plants coordinated at Star Roses.
